When I first started out in business for myself I would walk into a tavern or bar an say to the bartender " Hey, my Grimmstone Hot salt will make your customers drink more beer all you have to do is rim the glass with my salt ." I'd show them this photo of me setting the salt on fire (fusing capsaicin of three ofthe hottest peppers around to sea salt.) then they started using it on burgers, baked potatoes, popcorn, & rimming Bloody Mary's & Gimmstone Jala- lime Sea Salt was born our first unique product.

    Now, we love it hot & we know everyone may not like it as hot as we do, so we handcraft hot sauce in three heat levels Mild: (little to no heat but packed full of flavor.) Hot: that good middle of the road heat & B.Y.F.O (Burn Your Face Off - nuff said.)

    Crazy about each other & about hot sauce Antonio Lovett- Grimm & Melynda Hart- Grimm met in Seattle in 2008 after working at Pike Place Market for number of years they moved to Galveston Island & fell in love with it's little Gulf of America Island charm, to make Pirate style hot sauce was a no brainer for them because Galveston Island was founded by a pirate & Antonio loves pirate lore & making Hot Sauce & Melynda loves managing Antonio's life ( She has the hardest job).
